Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Principal Technical Product Manager (TPM)to lead the vision strategy and execution of ourIdentity and Access Management (IAM)solutions. This role will take ownership of MasterControls evolving Identity Provider (IdP)capabilities including building a modern solution based on Keycloak and integrating it seamlessly across our platform. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of modern identity protocols (OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect SAML) hands-on experience with enterprise IdPs (Okta Azure AD PingFederate ADFS) and a strong technical background working with development and architecture teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmapfor Identity and Access Management solutions across the MasterControl platform.
- Lead the development of a scalable IdP solution usingKeycloak ensuring alignment with enterprise security standards.
- Drivefederated identity integrationswith third-party providers such asOkta Azure AD PingFederate and ADFS.
- Define and prioritize requirements forauthentication authorization user provisioning SSO MFA and SCIM integration.
- Collaborate closely with engineering security architecture and DevOps teams to deliver secure and high-performing IAM services.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) onOAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect SAML and related identity standards.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements and communicate them to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance MasterControls identity platform.
- Champion IAM best practices in compliance withregulatory frameworks (e.g. FDA ISO GxP)where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of product management experience with at least 5 years focused onIAM or security platform products.
- Proven experience designing and delivering identity solutions usingKeycloak or comparable open-source IdPs.
- Deep familiarity withOAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect SAML and federated identity models.
- Hands-on experience integrating with enterprise IdPs such asOkta Azure AD PingFederate ADFS.
- Strong technical acumen and ability to work closely with engineering on system architecture and APIs.
- Excellent communication documentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in theLife Sciences or other regulated industries.
- Knowledge of SCIM RBAC/ABAC models and identity governance principles.
- Familiarity withDevSecOps practices CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud architecture (e.g. AWS Kubernetes).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- Primarily sedentary work with frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.
- Occasional lifting or moving of computer equipment or other objects up to 25 pounds may be required.
- Standard office environment with potential for remote work.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $200000-$270000 equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
