Job Description

Job Quick Facts:

Specialty: Endovascular Neurosurgery

Job Type: Locum Tenens

Facility Location: Springfield MO

Service Setting: Inpatient

Reason For Coverage: Supplemental

Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing

Coverage Type: Call only

Call Coverage: Interventional Stroke call & not general Neurosurgery.

Call Schedule: 24-hr calls; 7a-7a

- 7-10 days/month
- 4 days across a weekend

Call Type: Beeper

Phone Consults: 3-4

Patient Volume: varies

Support Staff: Stroke Team

Physicians in Practice: Neuro-hospitalists are always present as is a member of the Stroke Nursing Team & the Neurosurgery Trauma Team.

Required Procedures/Skills:

- Cerebrovascular: Open Endovascular Aneurysm clipping & Endovascular procedures.

- Can do Clipping & coiling.

EMR: Epic

Temporary Privileges Available: Yes

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active MO License

ACLS BLS
