Job Description

Job Title:Senior Program Manager(GGDC-SPM1 (774670))
Client: Commonwealth of Pennsylvania s Office of Administration
Location: This is a remote position with occasional travel to our Harrisburg office for meetings as required.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania s Office of Administration is seeking a skilled Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee a critical Human Resources project within our Senior Program Manager will be responsible for planning executing and delivering Human Resource projects on time within budget and according to specifications. This role requires strong leadership communication and organizational skills as well as an understanding of SAP. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise and project management skills to lead the planning design and implementation of complex IT this role you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with technical solutions while overseeing the entire project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining objectivestimelines roadmap resources and deliverables.
  • Coordinate project activities allocate resources effectively and monitor progress against established goals.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across multiple agencies and cross-functional teams to develop and refine the current state model and define the transition to the future state model.
  • Communicate project updates milestones and challenges to stakeholders ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports and updates to stakeholders ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and communicating milestones and challenges
  • Solicit feedback and input from stakeholders to inform-project decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze and prioritize requirements to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels effectively including executives project sponsors end-users and technical teams.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects preferably with experience in SAP reporting solutions.
  • Basic understanding of SAP system architecture and relevant SAP software solutions such as SAP ECC S/4HANA and SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Ability to create detailed project plans set milestones and manage schedules effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in conducting business process analysis gap analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams manage resources and deliver projects on time and within budget.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
  • Four years of experience in leading complex IT systems development or implementation projects and a bachelors degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes four years of experience in leading IT systems development or implementation projects.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • ITIL Foundations certification
  • PMP certification

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field 3 5 years of direct Project Management experience 4 6 years of overall business experience PMP Certification or Master s Certificate in Project Management Four years of experience in leading complex IT systems development or implementation projects and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes four years of experience in leading IT systems development or implementation projects.
