Job Description
This is a remote position.
Responsibilities
Role Overview: As an ABAP Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining custom applications within the SAP ECC landscape. This role requires strong expertise in ABAP programming and a deep understanding of key SAP modules including HR FI and MM. You ll work on both new development and optimization of existing code with a focus on performance scalability and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop custom reports interfaces conversions enhancements forms and workflows.
- Work with ABAP technologies including module pool programming ALV reports BAPIs BADIs and user exits.
- Optimize and debug ABAP code for performance and reliability.
- Adapt custom code to support regular SAP support pack updates.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Document technical specifications test cases and user manuals.
- Conduct unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing.
- Participate in agile development teams and sprint planning.
System Landscape & Tools:
- SAP Version: ECC (latest version with regular support pack updates)
- Critical Modules: HR FI MM
- Integration Technologies: CPI BTP OData REST XML/JSON
- Development Methodology: Agile
Development Scope:
- 50% New Development Building new custom solutions.
- 50% Maintenance & Optimization Enhancing and tuning existing ABAP code.
