Job Description

Candidates must have - Advanced Certification - ARDMS OB/GYN Certified Graduated from an accredited diagnostic Sonography program Minimum of 6 months of scanning experience outside of clinical which includes OB/GYN.

The Staff Sonographer conducts diagnostic ultrasounds and other related procedures in a specific department(s). Examinations are carried out independently under the supervision of a physician and in collaboration with peers when necessary.

In addition to performing scans the Staff Sonographer plays a crucial role in mentoring and educating staff at all levels. They hold the necessary credentials required for their departmental role and meet all relevant time and experience requirements associated with the position.
