Job Description

Adelphi is seeking Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide behavioral services in a school district in Montgomery County Virginia including conducting assessments developing individualized behavior intervention plans and providing ongoing support to students staff and families to improve educational and behavioral outcomes. Services will be provided to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) developmental disabilities or other behavioral needs.

Requirements:
Master s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis Education Psychology or a related field.
Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Virginia does not require separate state licensure for BCBAs; BACB certification is the recognized qualification.
Experience working in a school setting is preferred.

Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
Provide direct services to students and oversee the implementation of behavior plans.
Train and support teachers staff and families in behavior intervention strategies.
Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary.
Supervise RBTs and Behavior Technicians in accordance with BACB supervision requirements.
Participate in student support meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEP).
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies and applicable regulations.
Establish and maintain professional and positive working relationships with students staff and families.
Other duties as assigned.
