Sr. SW Engineer

Visa Technology & Operations LLC a Visa Inc. company needs a Sr. SW Engineer (multiple openings) in Foster City CA to:

• Collect analyze and report on metrics to demonstrate progress of projects and programs against their planned goals and deliverables
• Present portfolio data in tools such as Tableau Microsoft Power BI SharePoint Excel and PowerPoint
• Monitor project and program compliance and work with PMO team members to produce compliance artifacts
• Extract useful business insights from the data and build deliverables that clearly communicate the findings and recommendations
• Assist in scoping and crafting analytic projects and solutions bringing in and testing innovative ideas for out-of-box solutions
• Find opportunities to create and automate repeatable analyses or build self-service tools for business users
• Continuously identify and implement improvements that benefit projects programs and teams
• Establish relationships within and outside the department
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities assignments and roles
• Embrace collaboration while promoting an environment of diversity and inclusion
• Position reports to the Foster City California office and may allow for partial telecommuting

Qualifications :

Employer will accept a Masters degree in Engineering Management Business Management related field.

Required Certification:

1. Six sigma green belt;

2. Java Certification; and

3. C/C

Position requires experience in the following skills:

• Excel Macros
• Python;
• Shell scripts
• SQL

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $188885.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
