Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Specialist to join our Maintenance team at our SikaFiber plant in Chattanooga TN. This role involves advanced troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical/electronic mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot repair and maintain complex electrical systems PLCs variable speed drives and control equipment (Allen-Bradley Siemens Yaskawa etc.).
- Perform and lead preventive and condition-based maintenance programs focused on minimizing downtime and improving reliability.
- Read interpret and update electrical schematics wiring diagrams and equipment documentation.
- Install maintain and operate electrical/electronic systems while ensuring compliance with NEC OSHA and NFPA70E standards.
- Collaborate with and mentor maintenance team members providing guidance on electrical best practices and troubleshooting.
- Participate in root cause analysis equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives to support production goals.
Qualifications :
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience in industrial electrical/electronics.
- 3 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs industrial automation and safety procedures.
- Willingness to work any shift be on call and adhere to all PPE and safety standards.
