Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a reliable Order Entry Specialist (Remote) to join our team. This remote role is instrumental in coordinating procurement and ensuring smooth operations from processing orders to tracking project supplies. You ll work closely with project managers suppliers and team members all from your remote setup as you help transform architectural concepts into reality.



Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and manage purchase orders for materials fixtures and other project needs from your remote workstation.

  • Verify accuracy of order details item numbers quantities delivery dates and specifications based on project plans.

  • Communicate with internal teams to confirm order requirements and resolve discrepancies promptly.

  • Track incoming orders and update systems or teams accordingly to maintain project timelines.

  • Help organize vendor documentation invoices and delivery confirmations for easy access.

  • Generate order status and tracking reports to inform stakeholders and support decision-making.

  • Suggest process improvements to streamline ordering workflows and reduce errors.

  • Maintain confidentiality and data integrity in a remote environment ensuring secure handling of procurement data.




Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or administrative areas is a plus.

  • Previous experience in order entry procurement support or administrative roles remote work experience preferred.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong familiarity with office productivity tools and the ability to learn order management systems.

  • Clear written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage workflows independently in a remote setting.

  • Feels comfortable collaborating with design and operations teams from a remote location.

Bachelor s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 5 years of experience in construction administration or project management. Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and contract administration. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse project teams.
