Job Description
12 Month Contract Role
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Java Developer to join a collaborative Agile team responsible for designing building and maintaining enterprise applications. This role involves both back-end and front-end development with a strong emphasis on Java Spring frameworks and modern JavaScript/UI technologies. The ideal candidate is self-directed detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while contributing to scalable and user-friendly solutions.
Design develop test and deploy complex enterprise applications using Java and Spring frameworks.
Build responsive accessible user interfaces in collaboration with UI/UX team members.
Write clean maintainable code across both front-end and back-end components.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team planning estimation and retrospectives.
Troubleshoot issues optimize performance and ensure security and compliance standards are met.
Collaborate with stakeholders project managers and business analysts to align technical solutions with requirements.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
7 years of professional experience with Java development in enterprise environments.
5 years with Spring Spring Boot Spring Data and Hibernate/JPA.
5 years of front-end development experience with JavaScript frameworks HTML5 CSS3 Bootstrap and jQuery.
4 years of experience with Java 8 or higher.
Strong experience working with IDEs such as Eclipse or JBoss Developer Studio.
Experience with relational databases such as Oracle (12c/19c) SQL and PL/SQL.
Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
Desired Skills:
Experience with or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
Knowledge of JBOSS Enterprise environment.
Familiarity with reporting tools (Jasper Reports Crystal Reports Business Objects).
Understanding of accessibility standards (ADA WCAG 2.0 Section 508).
Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit) and logging frameworks (Log4j).

-This is a full-stack java developer position, exposure with front-end development is highly desired. - 7+ years of experience programming complex computer systems using current JAVA, this includes using relevant IDE tools such as Eclipse/Jboss Developer Studio. - 4+ years of experience programming with Java 8. - 5+ years of experience programming in projects using current Spring framework. - 5+ years of experience programming application user interfaces using current Javascript/front-end frameworks, HTML, CSS, including Bootstrap.
