Job Quick Facts: BDLocation: Greer South Carolina Job Type: Contract Facility Type: Elementary School Shift Schedule: Monday Friday 7:15 AM 2:45 PM Start Date: ASAP Rate: $24/hr Requirements: Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university Valid South Carolina Teaching Certificate (or eligibility to obtain) Special Education endorsement/certification for Learning Disabilities (LD) or Multi-categorical (multi-categorical preferred; LD acceptable) Completion of a teacher preparation program with student teaching Background check and fingerprinting clearance Responsibilities: Provide targeted pullout instruction aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Adapt and deliver instruction using evidence-based strategies to meet diverse learning needs Assess student progress regularly and update IEPs accordingly Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and service delivery Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices Attend IEP meetings and contribute to individualized planning Utilize technology to support learning and communication Ensure compliance with IDEA and South Carolina state standards Promote a respectful supportive and academically challenging environment Any other duties as assigned
At least 1 year of classroom experience
Education
