Job Description
Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
Job description:
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems mechanical components and programmable logic controllers.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery utilizing schematics and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking work orders.
- Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Oversee residential painting projects ensuring quality finishes and adherence to timelines.
- Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff or contractors when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including parts used labor hours and completed tasks.
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong mechanical background.
- Proficiency in electrical systems; familiarity with ohmmeters is preferred.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Welding skills are a plus for performing necessary repairs.
- Previous supervisory experience is beneficial for leading maintenance teams.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments is advantageous.
