Job Description

Our client a leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the ED unit. This position is responsible for the 24-hour oversight of the department ensuring high-quality patient-centered care that aligns with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and direction for Emergency Department staff ensuring optimal clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction
Oversee staffing workflow and resource allocation to maintain a safe efficient care environment
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement care protocols and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with hospital policies procedures and regulatory standards
Mentor and support clinical staff development and performance


Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Minimum of 2 to 5 years of acute care Emergency Department experience
Previous management or leadership experience in a clinical setting required
Strong organizational communication and leadership skills
Ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
Willingness to travel occasionally as needed
