Were Hiring: Director of Sales IT Services New York NY
Were working with an IT Services client to identify a strategic and results-driven Director/Sr. Director of Sales to spearhead business development and drive growth across key industry verticals.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned sales leader with deep experience in IT services and platform-led solutions who thrives in complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong domain expertise in industries such as insurance financial services consumer products manufacturing retail & logistics and e-commerce.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of Business Development Managers and Sales Executives to exceed revenue goals
Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with asset-led services and digital transformation offerings
Build and nurture executive-level relationships with enterprise clients
Collaborate closely with marketing product and delivery teams to create targeted go-to-market strategies
Oversee sales pipeline development forecasting and performance tracking for sustained growth
Ensure seamless handoff to delivery teams to maximize client satisfaction and long-term value
Stay abreast of industry trends especially in AI automation and platform engineering to bring consultative insights to clients
What Were Looking For:
15 years in IT services or digital transformation consulting with at least 5 years in sales leadership roles
Deep expertise in one or more verticals: Insurance Financial Services Consumer Products or eCommerce
Proven success selling platform-based services and enterprise solutions
Experience operating in a global delivery environment
Strong leadership skills and experience building and coaching high-performing sales teams
Track record of consistently achieving revenue targets
Excellent communication relationship-building and negotiation skills
Knowledge of enterprise tech trends (AI cloud-native data engineering)
Bachelors degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive results-oriented approach
