About the Role

Client is seeking Senior C Strategy Developers to join our Options Trading desk in New York this role you will work directly with our Quantitative Researchers to design and implement low-latency trading strategies build scalable systems and develop cutting-edge infrastructure that drives automated buy/sell decisions.

We are looking for exceptional C engineers with a strong background in systems programming and algorithmic problem-solving-industry experience in trading is not required. Our most recent hires have come from top-tier technology and autonomous driving companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design develop and optimize low-latency C applications for automated trading strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Quantitative Researchers to translate trading models into scalable high-performance code.
  • Build and maintain signal generation platforms and trading infrastructure.
  • Distill complex technical and mathematical logic into efficient systems.
  • Contribute to scaling tools platforms and infrastructure critical to SIGs options trading business.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure stability scalability and performance of trading systems.

What Were Looking For

  • 5 years of professional software development experience in C (C C# or Java also considered but strong C required).
  • Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals (data structures algorithms system design OS internals).
  • Proven ability to write clean efficient and well-architected code.
  • Bachelors degree (or higher) in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.
    • Note: Physics finance or purely mathematical degrees are not a fit for this role.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Quants and other technical teams.
  • Interest in markets trading or real-time systems; knowledge of market microstructure is a plus.
  • Stable career history we are looking for consistent non-jumpy resumes due to the proprietary nature of our systems.
