The Golf Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of golf operations ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests while maximizing the facilitys profitability and efficiency to maintain the highest level of service standards at Wynn Las Vegas the Manager will be knowledgeable of all job responsibilities of each position within the Golf Operations department.
Most importantly the Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Wynn Golf Club with a focus on guest experience staff engagement facility cleanliness and operational excellence. Acts as the first visible leader on property ensuring all supervisors deliver on service standards cleanliness and team performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily golf operations manages workload and priorities of team ensuring Wynns core values and quality standards are met
- Ensures cleanliness and appearance for all golf operations facilities which include but are not limited to the Pro Shop Locker Rooms Golf Cart Staging area (front and back of house) and Warm-up area
- Responsible for managing all levels of staff including Supervisors Caddies Locker Room Attendants and Cart Attendants
- Supervise and develop Golf Operations Supervisors including hiring scheduling assigning work reviewing performance and employee engagement
- Manage operational accounting processes including gratuity distribution time clock punches and payroll accuracy
- Must focus on main driver of employee engagement and guest satisfaction and coordinates with all levels of management to maintain the highest level of guest service standards
- Ensure supervisors hold staff accountable for guest service cleanliness and professional appearance
- Provide clear direction establish goals and monitor progress
- Maintain high visibility on property to guests and employees addressing operational issues promptly and professionally
- Stay current with industry trends and implement best practices in golf operations
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction
- Ensure staff is equipped with all tools to serve the guests needs
- Enforce compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Manage inventory equipment and supply levels for operational efficiency
- Demonstrate problem negotiation problem solving & decision-making skills
- Lead efforts to improve guest satisfaction and retention and address guest concerns promptly
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in golf course operations or related field
- PGA certification preferred.
- Proven track record in managing golf facilities and driving revenue growth
- Proficiency in golf operations customer service and guest experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with golf course management software
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Flexibility with working various shifts based on operational demands including opening and closing shifts and weekends
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
- In-depth knowledge of golf rules etiquette and industry trends
