Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
At Gilead ITs enterprise platforms team we are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Middleware Engineer. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication and data exchange across diverse enterprise applications and platforms. As a Middleware Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining robust middleware solutions that serve as the backbone of our IT infrastructure.
You will play a key role in enabling integration between legacy systems ERP systems (SAP EBS) cloud services and modern applications ensuring high performance scalability and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of middleware technologies integration patterns and enterprise architecture principles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications troubleshoot complex issues and drive continuous improvement in system interoperability.
This is a strategic role that requires a blend of technical expertise analytical thinking and strong communication skills. Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and at least 6 Years of relevant Experience
OR
- Masters Degree and at least 8 Years of relevant Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on working experience on Middleware tools such as Boomi APIGEE
- On-prem/cloud hybrid experience using Middleware tools
- Hands-on experience in managing GxP & SOX solutions
- Working experience with EDI/OTC/FSS/3PLs and trading partners
- Working experience with pharama manufacturing processes
- Hands-on DevOps & Agile delivery experience
- Track record working in a fast paced FDA regulated IT environment
- Experience managing consultants and providing technical recommendations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects & priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The salary range for this position is:
Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation including experience qualifications and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role) paid time off and a benefits package.
