The scope of the role is intended to cover the variety of Euroclear offerings: notably the International Central Securities Depositary - Euroclear Bank.
We are looking for a Sales and Relationship Manager to join our Sales and Client Relationship Division whose remit includes clients based in the Americas.
This role is in New York City reporting to the local Head of Relationship Management Americas.
We enforce mandatory office presence three days a week hence you need to reside within efficient commutable distance.
The candidatemust be an American citizen or green card holder.
Responsibilities & Duties
The primary function of this role is business development of an existing client portfolio and hunt for prospective clients.
In this role you will:
- Develop new and expand existing clients relationships in your markets with a clear mandate supported by targets
- Be disciplined in the use of Salesforce to record client interactions maintain and track opportunities via tasks and reminders
- Maintain a Client Management Plan to substantiate your actions
- Meet and exceed sales targets and business objectives set by Euroclear Bank
- Deliver presentations to clients on Euroclear Bank solutions
- Maintain strong ties and liaise with the internal and external stakeholders
- Represent Euroclear Group in external events and actively promote on LinkedIn
Further responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Understanding the problems and challenges of the markets and clients in your portfolio
- Coordination within the firm (i.e. Product Operations Network...) to ensure relevant resources are allocated to meet clients needs
- Developing business opportunities
- Protecting and expanding revenues and business within the existing client base
- Be responsible for successful annual compliance and Know your client recertification of your clients
- Ensuring timely & satisfactory resolution of the clients escalations.
Technical Skills:
Our next Sales and Relationship Manager must have proven experience within Financial Services Banking Fund sectors and/or post-trade in general.We also require the Sales and Relationship Manager to have expertisein the following:
- Strong clients focus and experience with client facing roles
- An understanding of clearing and settlement products and services is a plus
- Experience with sales processes and frameworks
- Willingness to develop an in-depth understanding of the Euroclear Bank business and related services in line with the Group strategy is imperative
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in English (spoken and written) Spanish is a plus
- Media savvy (online news networking LinkedIn)
- Good knowledge of tooling (Salesforce word excel teams copilot and alike)
Flexibility to travel within the markets of primary responsibilities is required.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to build foster and maintain positive professional relationship within the firm as well aswith external stakeholders
- Assertiveness and drive for hunting new opportunities
- Flexibility very good organisation skills impact and results oriented
- Ability to adapt actions to sensitivities needs and requirements expressed by the various stakeholders you will be dealing with
