You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailCoordinate and oversee daily manufacturing activities within the assigned shift.
Allocate tasks and supervise production operators technicians and support staff.
Monitor critical process parameters during BFS filling dispensing manufacturing sterilization and packaging.
Ensure adherence to batch production records SOPs and operational standards.
Monitor equipment performance address deviations and escalate where necessary.
2. Compliance & cGMP Practices
Enforce adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in all operations.
Verify completion review and authorization of production documentation.
Conduct line clearance and hygiene checks before batch start-up.
Identify and report non-conformities to relevant stakeholders.
Promote waste reduction and yield optimization initiatives.
Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to improve workplace efficiency.
3. Training & Staff Development
Supervise coach and mentor shift team members to enhance performance.
Uphold discipline punctuality and teamwork on the production floor.
Support onboarding and training of new operators on SOPs and cGMP compliance.
Conduct shift start-up and closure briefings.
4. Health Safety & Environment (HSE)
Promote and maintain a strong safety and hygiene culture.
Ensure compliance with PPE usage and safety regulations.
Report and document any safety incidents or near-misses immediately.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Review and ensure accuracy of BMRs cleaning logs and shift handover reports.
Record production output down times and deviations in real time.
Prepare and submit accurate shift performance reports highlighting key issues and improvements.
Education:
Bachelor s degree or Diploma in Industrial Mechanical or Production Engineering Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field.
Work Experience:
3 5 years of experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is an added advantage.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) safety protocols and quality systems.
Knowledge of HACCP principles and ISO quality standards (essential).
Proficiency in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) tracking tools.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Work Conditions:
Willingness and flexibility to work shifts including nights weekends and public holidays.
