Job Description
Job Title: Release Manager
Location: Porto Portugal
Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid (3 days per week at the office)
Overview / Summary:
We are looking for a Release Manager with strong expertise in planning coordinating and delivering complex releases across multiple applications and environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in CI/CD Change and Incident Management and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Plan coordinate and deliver releases across multiple applications and environments.
- Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines release tools risk management and rollback strategies.
- Lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) sessions manage change calendars and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Assess business and technical risks ensuring compliance with governance and audit requirements.
- Lead incident response including crisis communication during major incidents.
- Conduct root cause analysis postmortems and integrate lessons learned into change/release processes.
- Act as a key communication point between technical teams business stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or related fields.
- Experience: Proven track record in Release Management Change Management CI/CD and Incident Management.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication stakeholder management cross-team coordination resilience under pressure problem-solving and decision-making.
- Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Stack Tech: CI/CD pipelines and release tools.
Complementary Requirements:
- Experience with governance compliance and audit processes.
- Background in ITIL or equivalent frameworks.
- Experience in multinational or complex IT environments.
