Job Summary

Job Title: Release Manager

Location: Porto Portugal

Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid (3 days per week at the office)

Overview / Summary:

We are looking for a Release Manager with strong expertise in planning coordinating and delivering complex releases across multiple applications and environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in CI/CD Change and Incident Management and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Plan coordinate and deliver releases across multiple applications and environments.
Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines release tools risk management and rollback strategies.
Lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) sessions manage change calendars and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Assess business and technical risks ensuring compliance with governance and audit requirements.
Lead incident response including crisis communication during major incidents.
Conduct root cause analysis postmortems and integrate lessons learned into change/release processes.
Act as a key communication point between technical teams business stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

Education: Degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or related fields.
Experience: Proven track record in Release Management Change Management CI/CD and Incident Management.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication stakeholder management cross-team coordination resilience under pressure problem-solving and decision-making.
Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English.
Stack Tech: CI/CD pipelines and release tools.

Complementary Requirements:

Experience with governance compliance and audit processes.
Background in ITIL or equivalent frameworks.
Experience in multinational or complex IT environments.
