The Role
We are seeking an expert storyteller and highly resilient strategic leader to join our agency as a Senior Social Media Manager. This is a critical high-stakes role for a professional who excels at transforming complex topicslike insurance and financeinto compelling social media content within a demanding fast-paced environment.
You will be the strategic owner of the social narrative for a flagship client where the workload is heavy and expectations are high. This position requires a unique blend of creativity strategic acumen and an unwavering ability to maintain composure and quality under pressure. You will be the engine that builds trust and drives measurable results for a challenging yet rewarding account.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Content Development & Planning:
- Lead the strategy and development of the monthly content calendar translating complex insurance health and financial concepts into engaging easy-to-understand social media content.
- Define and own the content pillars based on audience insights data and brand objectives.
- Write clear inspiring creative briefs for internal teams (designers copywriters) and manage feedback loops to ensure all content is compliant on-brand and optimized for performance.
- Execute daily ad boosting for published content on platforms like Meta to increase its reach and engagement. You will manage the assigned budget for these boosting activities and track their basic performance.
- Performance Analytics & Reporting:
- Relentlessly monitor and analyze social media and paid campaign performance producing regular reports with actionable insights.
- Use data to continuously refine content strategy creative approaches and boosting tactics.
- On-Ground & Event Coverage:
- Lead social media coverage for on-ground activations and key events capturing real-time content for stories live posts and recap videos.
- Direct and manage content creation on-site to ensure high-quality brand-aligned storytelling.
- Internal Coordination & Administration:
- Manage all related social media administration including content scheduling budget tracking and asset management.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the client and internal creative teams ensuring seamless communication and project flow.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5 years of progressive experience in social media management with a strong background in a demanding digital agency setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating social media content for regulated industries such as Insurance Health Finance or Banking.
- Exceptional Resilience & Poise: You must have a proven ability to thrive in a high-pressure high-stakes environment. This role requires managing a heavy workload navigating complex client feedback and maintaining exceptional quality under tight demanding deadlines.
- Hands-on experience with daily paid social boosting and managing associated budgets on platforms like Meta Ads Manager.
- A highly strategic and data-driven mindset with the ability to turn analytics into actionable insights and compelling reports.
- Exceptional creativity and content development skills with experience in creative briefing and collaborating with design and video teams.
- Experience with on-ground event coverage and real-time content creation.
- Fluent in both English and Tagalog.
