Job Description
We believe that a great cup of coffee and a warm smile can brighten anyones day. Were more than just a caf were a community hub a space for connection and a team that supports and looks out for each other. Were now looking for a Caf Supervisor for our Rototuna village who shares our love for people hospitality and quality service.
Youll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our caf. From making great coffee to creating tasty cabinet food and light meals youll help make our caf a warm and welcoming place for residents their families and visitors. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Leading the daily operations of the caf and reconciling the daily takings
- Training and mentoring a small team
- Preparing presenting and serving food and drinks to a high standard
- Providing outstanding barista services
- Assisting with catering for village events and resident functions
Youll work closely with the Chef Manager and wider village team to deliver a caf experience thats welcoming consistent and genuinely enjoyable.
This is a permanent role working five days a week from 8.00am to 4.00pm with shifts scheduled between Monday and Sunday.
Qualifications :
You will bring a warm and positive approach to everything you do along with:
- Previous experience running daily operations in a caf or hospitality business
- Experience leading a team is ideal
- Superb barista skills
- A warm friendly personality with great customer service skills
- Excellent communication and the ability to multitask
