We are seeking a Clinical Trials Manager to take responsibility for the development and operational management of one or more clinical trials within Cancer Trials New Zealand. Your duties will be varied but will centre around trial management site monitoring and the business-as-usual operations and administration tasks needed to keep our research pushing forward.

To be considered for this role you will have a bachelors degree in a relevant area and 3 years of experience in a clinical trials environment. You will need to demonstrate experience of developing new trials and the writing and maintenance of clinical trial documents (Protocol PIS/CF SOPs etc). You will thrive in this role if you have strong time management processes and experience of meeting deadlines whilst juggling multiple priorities.

You will stand out when applying if you have 3 or more years of clinical trials experience in oncology (in one or more of the following areas of cancer research - Medical Oncology; Radiation Oncology; Haematological Oncology; Immunotherapy; Phase I studies; Palliative Care). It will also be beneficial if you have experience in the New Zealand clinical research environment. Were very interested in understanding your management experience including staff and budget management.
