The MDM Analyst is responsible for supporting the creation maintenance governance and quality of master data across enterprise systems. This role ensures consistency accuracy and reliability of key business data domains such as customers vendors products materials and employees. The MDM Analyst collaborates with business and IT stakeholders to enforce data standards and supports data integration efforts across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze cleanse and maintain master data records across multiple domains (e.g. Customer Vendor Product Material Item).
Support the implementation and management of the Master Data Management platform and data governance tools.
Ensure adherence to data quality rules standards and governance policies.
Work with business units to define data requirements and support onboarding of new data sets.
Perform data quality assessments de-duplication enrichment and remediation activities.
Monitor and maintain data stewardship workflows and ensure timely resolution of data issues.
Assist with data migration data integration and data validation efforts during system implementations or upgrades.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT Finance Operations Procurement Sales) to resolve data-related issues.
Create and maintain documentation including data definitions mappings and process flows.
Generate and analyze data quality reports and present findings to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business Finance or a related discipline
- 4 years experience in master data management or data governance.
- MDM/Data Governance certification preferred (e.g. DAMA CDMP).
- Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems SQL and data quality tools.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
