Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Maintenance:Installing and configuring network devices (routers switches access points etc.) conducting site surveys for new deployments performing fiber splicing and termination and maintaining existing infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting:Diagnosing and resolving network outages latency issues and equipment failures including RF testing and analysis.
- Rigging and Safety:Working at heights (sometimes exceeding 100 meters or 328 feet) using harnesses and fall-arrest systems and adhering to strict health safety and environmental procedures.
- Technical Support:Collaborating with Network Operations Centers (NOCs) and other teams to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Documentation:Maintaining records of installations maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Proficiency:Knowledge of telecommunications technologies (microwave radio fiber optics) network devices and troubleshooting tools.
- Working at Heights:Ability to work safely at significant heights including using appropriate safety equipment (harnesses fall-arrest systems).
- Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve network issues.
- Communication:Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide clear instructions.
- Physical Fitness:Ability to meet basic medical and fitness requirements as this role often involves physically demanding tasks.
- Safety Consciousness:A strong commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
Benefits
Monthly Salary: 100000 - 150000
