Job Description
Join Wix as a Backend Software Engineer and take part in building robust scalable backend services that support our global your day-to-day you will:
Build and maintain scalable reliable backend services
Collaborate with teams to design and deliver features
Integrate APIs microservices and third-party systems
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Ensure code quality performance and stability
Qualifications :
Experience in backend development (all levels considered)
Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java Scala Go etc.)
Knowledge of databases microservice architecture and API design
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and best practices
Fluent in English with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

These tools streamline the development process and reduce cognitive load allowing Wix Engineers to concentrate on their domain architecture and business logic. To handle high-scale traffic (over 500B HTTP requests per day) and 500 daily deployments our team of 500 Backend Engineers runs production across 19 distributed data centers and cloud vendors worldwide.
