Role and Responsibilities :
- Establish good coordination and communication with Customer Onsite and Offshore teams
Actively involve in the primary responsibilities that include but not limited to:
- Create test plans design test cases and define test data
- Execute test cases to verify functional & non-functional requirements and capture the results
- Identify document and track defects for closure by working with developers product managers and other teams
- Effectively communicate testing progress issues and risks to the stakeholders
- Perform in-sprint integration and regression testing for web and backend services
- Perform API and interface integration testing ensuring end-to-end business process validation
- Actively contribute towards various Transformation initiatives (Process maturity Testing efficiency Devops automation Security vulnerability remediation etc.) to achieve the project goals
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members while assigning and tracking the testing tasks for closure without any schedule quality and cost slippages
- Participate in Agile ceremonies providing feedback and estimates for QA activities
- Collaborate with developers business analysts and QA leads in a distributed multicultural environment
Requirements
Must :
- 3-8 years of experience in IT industry
- Experience of working in insurance domain project
- Experience in Software testing life cycle (STLC) in insurance (Life & P&C) or financial services domains
- Experience writing and executing detailed test cases/scripts and clear test documentation
- Understanding of Agile/sprint-based QA and distributed team collaboration
- Business level Japanese (N2 or above) and English skill
Nice to have :
- Exposure on AWS Cloud Agile methodology DevOps Security vulnerability management and P&C Insurance domain knowledge
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs design and Swagger/Open API specification
