Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security strategies to safeguard sensitive data.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
- Monitor security systems for potential breaches and threats.
- Respond to security incidents and mitigate risks swiftly.
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance network security protocols.
- Evaluate and recommend security solutions and technologies.
- Design and maintain security documentation and incident response plans.
- Provide training and awareness programs for staff on security best practices.
- Conduct threat intelligence gathering and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Document and report on security incidents and resolutions.
- Manage security tools and technologies to optimize performance.
- Implement encryption and access control measures.
- Review and update security policies regularly.
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity roles.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and technologies.
- Experience with risk management and vulnerability assessment tools.
- Understanding of incident response and disaster recovery planning.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 NIST or GDPR.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies (firewalls IDS/IPS etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Certifications such as CISSP CISM or CEH are preferred.
- Knowledge of malware analysis and forensic investigation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to security.
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts.
- Strong ethical standards and professionalism.
