Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality web applications.
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes into actual code.
- Collaborate with designers to create responsive and visually appealing interfaces.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify and troubleshoot website performance issues.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs.
- Test and debug applications for seamless functionality.
- Document code changes and maintain clear coding standards.
- Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement solutions.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of frontend development practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of web markup including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Proficient in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks particularly React.
- Experience with version control systems preferably Git.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to translate design concepts into functional web applications.
- Knowledge of responsive design techniques and principles.
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack Gulp or Grunt.
- Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
- Strong passion for learning new technologies and applications.
- Portfolio of previous work showcasing frontend development skills.
