Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Analytics Instructor with strong expertise in data analytics machine learning and AI systems to join our International teaching team. The candidate must have at least 3 years of recent professional practice (within the last 5 years) in data science or related fields and the ability to inspire students through applied industry-relevant teaching.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare lesson plans schemes of work and digital learning resources in line with Pearson and Ofqual standards.
Create assignments and assessments that apply data analytics and AI to practical case studies.
Carry out grading internal verification and quality assurance in accordance with UK vocational standards.
Mentor students in research analytics projects and machine learning applications.
Keep curriculum content aligned with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements
Essential Skills & Tools
Data Analytics: Python (NumPy Pandas SciPy Matplotlib Seaborn).
Machine Learning & AI: scikit-learn TensorFlow PyTorch Keras.
Big Data: PySpark Hadoop basics.
Visualisation: Tableau Power BI Jupyter.
Databases: SQL (MySQL PostgreSQL) data warehouse concepts.
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Data Science Computer Science or related field (Master s desirable).
Minimum 3 years recent industry experience in data analytics AI or machine learning.
Prior teaching or mentoring experience is desirable but not essential.

Candidate Profile Essential Criteria: Educational Qualification: Minimum Diploma in Hospitality Management or an equivalent/higher-level qualification in Hospitality. Industry Experience: At least three (3) years of post-qualification industry experience in the hospitality sector, preferably in Food & Beverage operations. This experience must have been gained within the last five (5) years to ensure industry currency. Training & Teaching Credentials: Prior experience in delivering Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs, with a solid understanding of training methodologies aligned with the Australian VET framework. The candidate must either hold the TAE (Training and Assessment) qualification or be actively undertaking the TAE, especially if they already have other relevant teaching/training credentials.
