Job Description – QA Executive
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality reliability and performance of our applications/products through manual and automation testing. You will collaborate closely with developers product managers and other stakeholders to identify issues define test strategies and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Develop document and execute test plans test cases and test scripts for manual and automated testing.

Perform functional regression integration performance and UI testing across web and mobile applications.

Identify report and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g. JIRA Bugzilla).

Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage.

Validate that business requirements are met and products meet quality standards before release.

Work on automation frameworks/tools (e.g. Selenium Katalon JUnit TestNG) to reduce manual effort.

Ensure compliance with QA processes best practices and industry standards.

Participate in reviews of requirements design and test documentation.

Provide clear QA reports and testing metrics to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in QA (Manual & Automation Testing).

Strong understanding of SDLC STLC and defect life cycle.

Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium Katalon JUnit TestNG etc.).

Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (JIRA Trello or similar).
-
Knowledge of databases and ability to write basic SQL queries for validation.

Familiarity with API testing (Postman REST Assured) is an advantage.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Good communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have
-
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.

Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.

Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter).
