What will you be doing
ALTEN UK is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support an exciting phase of aerospace system development. This position will involve working across multi-disciplinary teams shaping requirements in the early stages of system design and ensuring robust standards are applied throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements engineering activities within an aerospace R&T / R&D context.
- Manage and refine requirements using Codebeamer.
- Collaborate with domain teams across different levels of the organisation.
- Contribute systems engineering expertise in early-stage system development.
- Define and apply requirements quality standards.
- Prepare and present technical documentation for design reviews.
Desirable Skills:
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) knowledge.
- Structured verification experience.
- Experience in knowledge management.
Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Degree in Engineering Aerospace Systems Engineering or related field.
- Experience in requirements engineering.
- Experience as an advanced user of Codebeamer.
- Strong knowledge and experience within the aerospace domain.
- Proven ability to work across domain teams and organisational levels.
- Competency in systems engineering.
- Skilled at working in early-stage system development.
- Experienced in writing technical reports and delivering to technical reviews.
