We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care and Support Worker to join our team in the Social/NGO/Health & Care industry. As a Care and Support Worker you will be responsible for providing essential support to individuals in need ensuring their well-being and comfort. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities providing emotional support and promoting independence for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in support work and care with a genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing practical support with daily tasks such as personal care meal preparation and household chores.
  • Offering emotional support and companionship to individuals in need.
  • Assisting clients in maintaining their independence and promoting their well-being.
  • Communicating effectively with clients their families and other healthcare professionals.
  • Keeping accurate records and reporting any concerns or changes in the clients condition.

Requirements


  • Proven experience as a Support Worker or in a similar care role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the needs of individuals requiring care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in health and social care may be required.


Requirements: Proven experience in quality assurance and reviewing services for children and young people Strong understanding of statutory and regulatory safeguarding requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to championing the rights and well-being of children and young people
