Job Description

We are recruiting a Production Engineer to install set up maintain and improve efficiency of equipment and processes in our manufacturing areas.

Experience in food manufacturing encapsulation tableting and bulk powder filling is preferred but not essential. End-of-line packing experience is desirable. Knowledge of BRC standards is an advantage.

This is a hands-on role.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations including reviewing risk assessments

  • Monitor and resolve machine-related issues

  • Support operations to maximise machine output workflow and production efficiency

  • Lead engineering improvement projects and support new product introductions

  • Ensure equipment and processes meet technical and quality specifications

  • Document manufacturing parameters and instructions

  • Ensure manufacturing processes for released products meet required standards

  • Maintain critical spare parts inventory

  • Manage preventative and predictive maintenance

  • Design and manage machine build projects including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and commissioning

  • Apply Lean manufacturing principles Kaizen techniques and monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) advantageous
