Job Description

Join Syngenta as a Customer Service Specialist where you will play a crucial role in supporting our vegetable seed sales by ensuring the seamless execution of processes from order placement to invoicing. Your role will be pivotal in driving customer satisfaction and supporting our commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process sales orders received via email and phone ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Issue invoices returns credit and debit notes and handle invoice cancellations.
  • Maintain and update customer master data ensuring data integrity.
  • Register and follow up on customer complaints providing timely resolutions.
  • Provide critical information to internal sales team.
  • Open and follow up on tickets for any potential issues.
  • Participate in and support departmental projects.

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with global policies and commercial guidelines.
  • Foster a team spirit and collaborative working environment.
  • Maintain attention to detail in all tasks especially under high volume and pressure.

Qualifications :

Knowledge Skills & Experience:

Critical Experience

  • Previous experience in customer service and administration.
  • Project management experience is advantageous.

Critical Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Spanish and English; Italian is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel).

Technical Professional and Personal Capabilities

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • High tolerance for stress and resilience in fast-paced environments.

The role demands meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of conscientiousness. You will handle a significant volume of work and need to be a quick learner as full proficiency typically requires completing a full annual cycle. You will need to be adaptable and ready to integrate quickly.
