Job Description
Objective:
- Responsible for planning and overseeing projects within an organization from the initial ideation to completion scope and development of project plans.
Responsibilities:
- Defining project goals and objectives and establishing project timelines and milestones.
- Control identifying project requirements and constraints and managing project risks.
- Monitoring project progress and reporting on project status to the defined stakeholders.
- Identifying and resolving issues related to project delivery.
- Manage project resources to fulfill the project assignments.
- Tracking milestones deliverables and change requests.
- Ensuring each project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines.
- Overseeing the Scrum events and meetings if Agile applies.
- Determining and overseeing consistent project activities like testing issues evaluation and troubleshooting.
- Serving as a liaison to communicate information regarding changes milestones reached and other pertinent information.
- Perform regular checks on the delivered projects for better enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science business or any related field.
- 5-7 years of experience as a senior project manager and preferably has experience in the financial sector.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management Scrum Kanban or Waterfall.
- Proficiency in reporting tools such as Microsoft Project Plan and JIRA.
- Very good understanding of software development processes.
- Proficiency in Agile development methodologies.
