Data Analyst (Wealth Management)
Hiring 3 experienced Data Analysts to support data-driven initiatives in the insurance and wealth management sector. This hybrid role in Toronto requires strong SQL Azure and Generative AI skills. Ideal for professionals with capital markets experience seeking a strategic collaborative environment with potential for extension or full-time hire.
What is in it for you:
Salaried: $70-75 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $85-90 per hour.
6-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
Hybrid work: in-office Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:
Lead sessions with business stakeholders to gather requirements and obtain sign-off.
Produce and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) source-to-target mappings (STMs) and related documentation.
Ensure project teams deliver data assets that align with business needs.
Facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Perform data analysis profiling and metadata collection.
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and secure sign-off from business units.
Support strategic data initiatives within the Data Office/Engineering team.
Deliver high-quality data solutions aligned with enterprise data strategy.
Work collaboratively to improve data sourcing modeling and delivery practices.
What you will need to succeed:
7 10 years of experience as a Data Analyst preferably in wealth management (retail retirement institutional or general accounts).
2 3 years of working experience with Generative AI and Azure cloud.
Experience with data-centric projects such as master data management data integration and data warehousing.
Strong experience in big data environments for analytics.
Proficient in writing complex SQL queries to analyze data and generate business insights.
Demonstrated ability to deliver data documentation within project timelines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
Experience with platforms including Bloomberg Polar Lake SimCorp Dimension Findur Apex Eagle Charles River Sylvan and Calypso.
Intermediate to senior-level experience building data infrastructure or working in data lake/warehouse environments.
Solid knowledge of data modeling loading profiling and validation using SQL.
Deep experience integrating new data sources into data lake or warehouse architectures.
