Nous recherchons actuellement un mcanicien de pompes pour notre succursale de Pointe-Claire Qc.
Ce poste est syndiqu.
Tche principales:
- Diagnostiquer dsassembler et rparer les pompes submersibles lectriques les agitateurs les pompes et les gnratrices.
- Mettre en service identifier et localiser les problmes sur les panneaux de contrle.
- Apporter de laide la division Drainage dans la prparation des quipements ou sur le chantier.
Experience requises:
- Vous dtenez un diplme technique en mcanique ou en lectricit
- Cumuler de 1 2 annes minimum dexprience en rparation et en entretien dquipement industriel serait un atout.
- Un permis de conduire valide est requis.
- Les comptences cibles pour ce poste sont ;Orientation client dvelopper la confiance priorit etplanification orientation rsultats intgrit communicationhonnte et communication efficace.

ENGLISH VERSION
We are currently looking for a Pump Mechanic for our Pointe-Claire QC branch.
THE ROLE: The Pump Mechanic will be responsible but not limited to dissembling / diagnosing / repairing / servicing of Flygt equipment. The Service Mechanic will at times assist with field work and also On Call for Emergency breakdowns on a rotational basis.
This is a unionized role.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Diagnosing repairing and servicing of Flygt and other similar Xylem equipment
- Dissembling Flygt equipment
- Assist with field work encompassing mechanical / electrical start-ups.
- Assist with On Call for Emergency breakdowns on a rotational basis.
- Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from a community or technical college in an electrical or mechanical field preferred.
- 1 to 2 years minimum of experience in repairing and maintaining industrial equipment would be an asset.
- Valid drivers license
- Electrical knowledge of PLCs and electrical control panels will be a distinct benefit.
- Ability to operate with substantial lifting and physical work.
