We are seeking a skilled Senior Linux Administrator to enhance secure and maintain our clients office network teleworker network and the infrastructure required to run critical business applications. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership of challenges thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about both security and performance.
What Youll Do
- Manage and maintain a network of Linux and Windows hosts and domains.
- Oversee internet protocols and ensure secure network operations.
- Manage and configure network devices to support business needs.
- Support environments subject to audit controls (e.g. SOC2 compliance).
- Troubleshoot issues and deploy code builds or system changes occasionally outside of business hours.
- Collaborate across teams on projects involving multiple resources.
Requirements
What You Bring
- Minimum 4 years in a System Administrator or Network Administrator role.
- Proven ability to secure sensitive information and maintain system integrity.
- Nice to Have:
- iSeries IBM MQ VMware.
- Puppet Splunk WS1.
- Apache httpd and Tomcat.
- Workstation VPNs.
- College Diploma or University Degree in a related field.
- Ownership in solving problems and managing projects.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Analytical problem-solving abilities with persistence to see issues through.
- Initiative creativity and a growth mindset for continuous learning.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Effective time management multi-tasking and prioritization in a deadline-driven environment.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours for deployments updates or troubleshooting critical issues.
