A Nutrition Technician is responsible for assisting the Nutritionist with supervision and maintenance of procedures on good practices in food handling.

What will I be doing

A Nutrition Technician is responsible for assisting the Nutritionist in overseeing and keeping all procedures of good practices in food handling. Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following activities:

• Apply the manual of good practices:
• Complete and organize worksheets of control records
• Implement and enforce procedures of Food Safety in Food and Beverage team
• Check the quality of raw material in the receipt
• Apply checklist procedures in the kitchen
• Follow procedures of out site catering
• Follow the Nutritionist in monthly technical visits to suppliers of raw materials
• Daily monitoring of production and distribution of food
• Attending to guest requests regarding nutrition
• Attending the authorities of sanitary inspection when required
• Focus the controls in the food security of the guest and team
• Participate in training that are offered for your professional development
