The CIO Division provides a range of enabling services and operations delivery to the department and to Australian businesses and is seeking an experienced and motivated Data Engineer to assist with the delivery of various ICT Projects across the Division.
Key duties and responsibilities
The candidate/s will be responsible for day-to-day operations and business as usual processes (BAU) within the Infrastructure Services team. Specifically the role will contribute to the department s ongoing support for Windows Server operating systems troubleshooting and escalation/ major incident resolution.
Criteria

Essential criteria Weighting
1. Detailed Windows Server understanding and experience including Active Directory Entra ID DNS PKI ADFS File and Print DFS and GPO with Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM) 60%
2. Experience with systems monitoring and patching in Microsoft System Centre products and Intune (SCOM SCCM/MECM) 20%
3. Understanding of Cyber Security tools and methodologies including application whitelisting host-based firewalls vulnerability scanners and device control 20%
Desirable criteria
1. Experience managing Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) servers including template deployment user and resource administration
2. Understanding of Australian Government Cyber Security requirements processes and artefacts including ISM Essential 8 and ACSC hardening guides
3. Strong experience in writing technical documentation including SOPs and design documentation.
4. Experience implementing and managing Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions such as CyberArk including vaulting credentials session monitoring and integrating with enterprise authentication systems. Experience with enterprise identity management solutions.
