Were looking for a Revenue Tax Auditor Supervisor to join our Field Audit Sales Tax Division!
This is a promotional posting open only to current permanent classified employees of the Louisiana Department of Revenue.Seven years of experience in tax accounting or tax auditing; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field plus twenty-four semester hours in accounting plus four years of experience in tax accounting or tax auditing; OR
A bachelors degree with twenty-four semester hours in accounting plus four years of experience in tax accounting or tax auditing; OR
A bachelors degree in accounting finance business administration management economics or statistics plus four years of experience in tax accounting or tax auditing; OR
An advanced degree in accounting finance business administration management economics quantitative methods or statistics or a Juris Doctorate plus three years of experience in tax accounting or tax auditing; OR
Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or a current Louisiana license to practice law plus two years of experience in tax accounting or tax auditing.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Current permanent status classified state employees may be required to accept a probational appointment if selected. If filled as a job appointment there is a possibility that this position may be converted to a probational appointment should funding become available.
Compensation:The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
The Revenue Tax Auditor Supervisor (AS-619) has a special entrance rate (SER) of: $27.86/hourly; $2228.80 biweekly.
This posting may be used to fill vacancies in other divisions available within the Louisiana Department of Revenue within 90 days of the closing date.
