About the Role
As a Carer Coach youll deliver one-one-one and group coaching sessions that help carers build resilience agency and hope. Youll support carers to explore their goals reflect on their journey and take practical steps toward wellbeing all through a non-therapeutic strengths-based approach.
Topics may include:
Were seeking someone who thrives in a reforming space and embraces change with confidence and flexibility. Youll bring experience in community services allied health or peer support along with strong communication skills emotional maturity and a trauma-informed approach.
Your ability to empower carers through active listening and smart goal setting will be essential as will your familiarity with carer services such as the NDIS My Aged Care and mental health supports. A commitment to inclusion self-reflection and continuous learning will ensure you succeed and grow in this role.
You will receive comprehensive training mentoring and supervision. Well support your professional development and reflective practice helping you grow as a coach and leader in your community.
Community engagement/ networking and establishing referral pathways will be a key aspect of this role and you will work autonomously while being a supportive and flexible team member.
