Job Description
Position: Kitchen Aide
Program and Location: Senior Center - North Platte
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for general cleaning housekeeping and dishwashing in the kitchen and dining area.
- Ensure the maintenance of all kitchen equipment and daily kitchen and dining area clean up.
- Assist in daily meal preparation as needed.
Tasks and Duties:
- Assist on serving line as needed.
- Assist in daily meal preparation.
- Clean kitchen area dining area and store room area.
- Clean all utensils cooking vessels and serving equipment.
- Inventory tracking/reporting as needed.
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED. Consideration will be given to individuals without a diploma or GED.
Required Skills:
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the general public and agency employees.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time (cooking meal serving cleaning)
- Ability to lift more than 30 pounds on a regular basis.
Schedule/Hours: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday.
