Summary:
The Arrears Collection & Arrears Recovery Officer plays a key role in managing the Councils most significant financial risks to ensure the success of tenancies. The postholder is responsible for maximising rental income through effective case management early intervention and supportive engagement with tenants. They will adopt a Rent First approach ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements while working collaboratively with tenants the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Jobcentre Plus (JCP) and other stakeholders to prevent arrears escalation and homelessness.
