Job Description

Job Title: Private Client Solicitor

Salary: per annum
Location: Northwich

We are looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor whos confident handling a wide-ranging caseload. If you value working closely with clients enjoy providing clear and practical advice and want to be part of a respected practice where your input truly matters then this could be the role for you.

About the Role

Youll be trusted to manage a varied caseload of private client matters including wills trusts probate powers of attorney court of protection work and inheritance tax planning. This is very much a client-facing role so youll need to combine technical expertise with empathy and strong communication skills. The firm is looking for someone who can take ownership of files from start to finish while building strong long-term relationships with clients.

Our client is a well-regarded law firm based in Northwich. They are known for their tailored personal approach to estate planning and private client work earning an excellent reputation in the local community. The firms ethos is centred on professionalism delivered with a human touch they pride themselves on being approachable transparent and client-focused while offering a supportive and collaborative environment for their team.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday

  • 9 am 5 pm.

Key Duties

  • Managing a caseload of private client work including wills probate trusts powers of attorney court of protection and inheritance tax planning.

  • Guiding clients through sensitive and sometimes complex matters with care and clarity.

  • Drafting legal documents accurately and efficiently.

  • Handling each case from instruction to completion maintaining compliance and best practice standards.

  • Building long-lasting relationships with clients and contributing to the ongoing growth of the practice.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor

  • Strong technical knowledge across wills probate trusts tax planning LPAs and court of protection matters.

  • Excellent communication and client care skills with the ability to explain complex issues in a straightforward way.

  • Organised reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Conveyancing experience would be great but not essential
