Job Summary
Contract Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Electrical Bias
Location: West London
Rate: Outside IR35 40 per hour
Shift: Rotating Shifts - 12 hrs
The Role
We are looking for a Contract Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a busy food manufacturing site in West London. You will be part of a small maintenance team responsible for keeping production machinery running efficiently. The role will involve:
- Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on production machinery.
- Responding to electrical and mechanical breakdowns across the site.
- Working on a range of equipment including packaging machines conveyors wrappers molders and robotics.
- Ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum and production targets are met.
- Supporting site projects and improvement work when required.
- Basic PLC fault finding may be involved but this is primarily a hands-on maintenance role.
The Person
- Time-served or formally qualified multi skilled engineer with strong electrical skills.
- Background in FMCG or food manufacturing is essential.
- Confident in both electrical and mechanical fault finding.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-moving continuous process environment.
- Reliable proactive and a good team player.
Offer
- 40 per hour (Outside IR35).
- Rotating Shifts - 12 hours
