Job Description

Contract Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Electrical Bias
Location: West London
Rate: Outside IR35 35 per hour
Shift: Days Only

The Role
We are looking for a Contract Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a busy food manufacturing site in West London. You will be part of a small maintenance team responsible for keeping production machinery running efficiently. The role will involve:

  • Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on production machinery.
  • Responding to electrical and mechanical breakdowns across the site.
  • Working on a range of equipment including packaging machines conveyors wrappers molders and robotics.
  • Ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum and production targets are met.
  • Supporting site projects and improvement work when required.
  • Basic PLC fault finding may be involved but this is primarily a hands-on maintenance role.

The Person

  • Time-served or formally qualified multi skilled engineer with strong electrical skills.
  • Background in FMCG or food manufacturing is essential.
  • Confident in both electrical and mechanical fault finding.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-moving continuous process environment.
  • Reliable proactive and a good team player.

Offer

  • 35 per hour (Outside IR35).
  • Days Only
  • Long term contract opportunity on a modern food production site.
