About the opportunity:
We are looking for experienced Equipment Operators and Truck Drivers to join our winter seasonal snow removal operations team. Working for the Citys Roads & Fleet Division you will perform skilled work in the operation and minor servicing of heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Along with a commitment to safety you are a customer-focused team player. Shift Work is required. The start date will be weather-dependent. Permanent (seasonal) winter positions are subject to layoffs and are recalled annually.
About your background:
You have a valid unrestricted B.C. drivers license Class 3 or Class 1 with Air Endorsement (or out of province equivalent) and a drivers abstract that reflects a safe driving record. You have at least one year of experience and you are qualified to operate equipment and/or trucks safely and efficiently. Please include a current drivers abstract with your application.
