Job Description

    Mount Private Hospitalis looking for Clinical Nurse for their Coronary Care Unit to commit of a full-time permanent applicants with the right clinical background are encouraged to apply.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Deliver quality-nursing care by Assessing Planning Implementing and evaluating individual patient care
    • Provide a standard of care according to the individuals level of experience and education maintaining high quality nursing care within a safe environment
    • Develop and utilise strategies that encourage an atmosphere conducive to effective communication
    • Work in partnership with patients and families in decision-making regarding provision of care promoting beneficial relationships

    Selection Criteria:

    • Current Registration with AHPRA
    • Minimum of 5 years nursing experience with majority of that being in critical/coronary care
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality patient care
    • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
    • Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
    • Post-graduate certificate in critical/coronary/cardiac nursing is essential to being lieu of qualifications past experience will be considered along with willingness to enrol in a post-graduate program

    Located near Kings Park Mount Private Hospital is Western Australias leading private provider of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery supported by the largest private Critical Care Unit (CCU).

    Our 31 bed Coronary Care Unit is a busy unit with many high-end interventional cardiac procedures being performed on a regular examples of the types of procedures we routinely see include PCI cardiac device insertion LAAO ablation pre-op CABG and TAVI. CCU provides the MET service for the hospital and adjoining medical suites as well as a Priority Admission Service for chest pain and related respiratory conditions.

    At Mount Private Hospital we can offer you experience in a high acuity unit that services three Cath Labs as well as a Hybrid this role you will be supported by our Nurse Unit Manager dedicated Staff Development Nurse as well as a highly experienced team of Clinical and Registered nurses offering many years of experience in the specialty.

    CCU is well supported by a 10 bed Level 3 Intensive Care Unit completing in excess of 700 open heart procedures per year. If cardiac nursing is your passion then the Mount is the place to be.
